It was such a pleasure to photograph the wedding of Ali and Damon at Wedgwood, after also photographing their engagement a few months prior. New to Boulder, Colorado, their friends and family had traveled from around the country to be with them for this special day. In between the engagement and wedding, Ali had taken a bad spill on her mountain bike and broken her knee, not only causing them to cancel their hiking honeymoon, but challenging her ability to walk down the aisle and do the first dance her and Damon has choreographed.
Regardless of the pain, of the full leg immobilizer she wore under her beautiful wedding stress, Ali walked, Ali danced, and Ali had the time of her life. This couple was calm, steady, and hopeful for everything that lay ahead. I wish them nothing but happiness and love forever :)
