Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes when a team like ours plans an elopement? Well first we have a vision. This vision is usually based on things we have already done, but it could even be based on maps or other photos! Then we execute the plan at the time we think will be best. If its not best, we do it again at another time. We don't settle until we are set on the right time and right spots to make this day one you will never forget.

A sunrise adventure elopement on the windward side of Oahu is nothing short of spectacular! From forest to mountains, to beaches, all of which are free from the tourists and busy life of what we normally envision Oahu to be. It is the diversity of this island that makes it so unique. Start your day on a solo adventure, end it at a jazz club with a 5-course meal. We feel so blessed to call this unique and beautiful island home :)

Marsha and Andre love the tide pools of Makapuu so we planned a whole adventure around this location. The only hitch- the tide was too high and we couldn't make it! So what did we do instead? We hung out at the beach at Allen Davis and explored the trails until we found a beautiful calm bay with mangroves where we could play in the water. The day was stormy and windy but it made for beautiful color and a unique experience in Hawaii.
